Introduction

Nemesis of the Roman Empire is a real-time strategy role-playing game that lets you experience some of the most epic battles in ancient history. You can choose to play as one of four nations: Rome, Carthage, Gaul, or Iberia. Each nation has its own strengths, weaknesses, units, heroes, and objectives. You can also switch between two gameplay modes: campaign mode and role-playing mode. In campaign mode, you follow a linear storyline that recreates historical events and scenarios. In role-playing mode, you have more freedom to explore the map, complete quests, collect items, and level up your hero and army.

The Punic Wars Campaign

The Punic Wars were a series of three wars fought between Rome and Carthage from 264 BC to 146 BC. They were mainly caused by rivalry over trade, territory, and influence in the Mediterranean region. The most famous figure of these wars was Hannibal Barca, a Carthaginian general who crossed the Alps with his army and elephants and invaded Italy.

In Nemesis of the Roman Empire, you can play as either Rome or Carthage in this campaign. You will face different challenges depending on your choice. As Rome, you will have to defend your homeland from Hannibal's invasion, while also expanding your empire in Africa and Spain. As Carthage, you will have to use your superior naval power and cunning tactics to outsmart your enemies, while also dealing with internal conflicts and rebellions.

The main factions in this campaign are Rome and Carthage, but you will also encounter other minor factions such as Numidia, Syracuse, Gauls, Iberians, Macedonians, Greeks, and Etruscans. Each faction has its own unique units and heroes that can turn the tide of battle. For example, Rome has legions, centurions, ballistae, scorpions, gladiators, Julius Caesar, Scipio Africanus, Fabius Maximus, etc. Carthage has elephants, war chariots, slingers, mercenaries, Hannibal Barca, Hasdrubal Barca, Mago Barca etc.

The Gallic Wars Campaign

The Gallic Wars were a series of military campaigns waged by Julius Caesar against several Gallic tribes from 58 BC to 50 BC. They were mainly motivated by Caesar's ambition to gain fame, wealth
